WOW. Way Better than DivaCup and Saalt!!!
I had been using Diva cup (model 1) for seven years. There was a learning curve, but once I got it I (mostly) got it, and accepted there would always be some leaks. I realized it had been far too long since I replaced it, so went shopping.I tried the smallest Saalt cup because I heard it could reduce cramps. Absolutely hated it. It leaked constantly and I could almost never get it to open, even after two months. Then i tried Pixie, the small (yellow). OH MY GOD. Where has this thing been all my life!!!!!The thing with cups is they are pretty easy to insert, and remove (you just have to bear down, and they will come back down so you can reach the stem). The issue is getting them to OPEN once they are inside you. Saalt never did. Diva would take some finagling, tugging and twisting, even after years of use.For some reason, and I really wish I knew why, Pixie opens so much easier. I barely have to try. It just WORKS. It also seems to leak way less than the Diva cup ever did.If you are comparing Diva cup size 1 with Pixie, GO WITH PIXIE. They are almost the exact same volume and width. I also think this would be a great cup for a first time cup user.It just…opens!

A miracle for heavy periods AND prolapsed uterus
If you have a prolapse and/or a heavy periods, this review is for you.I am 45 years old and 127 pounds. 20 years ago, I developed a prolapsed uterus. I have had extremely heavy periods since I was a teenager, but the prolapse made things much worse, because I could no longer wear tampons. I tried every different kind…they always sat uncomfortably low, making it feel like it was going to fall out. If I coughed or sneezed, it would. The largest pads couldn’t even keep up with my flow. I had many embarrassing occasions when, in a matter of a couple minutes, I would leak all over the place and onto the chair I was sitting on. 10 years ago, I had the surgery to try to correct the prolapse, but it didn’t help with the periods or the inability to wear a tampon. This past September, I went back to work after being a stay-at-home mom for 18 years. I started working as a teacher’s assistant. We don’t get a lot of breaks to go to the bathroom. There was no way I was going to be able to get away with just pads, so I decided to try a period cup. I’m a member of a social media group that lists Amazon deals and one of them was an off-brand period cup that shipped from China. It was a couple bucks so I took a chance. I used it during my cycle in September and was shocked by how well it worked. That being said, I was a little unsure of what it was made of, so I did some more research. After reading the Pixie Cup reviews, I decided to buy the double pack with a small and a large. The one I got from China barely lasted a couple hours on my heavy days. The Pixie Cup was definitely a winner if I compared the 2. The little knob on the “tail” makes it much easier to remove. The problem I was still having was that even the large cup filled up numerous times during the day and had to be emptied. I contacted the company and they sent me an extra large (this company is AMAZING and has excellent customer service!). The extra large is better, but the truth is, I have insanely heavy periods. I fill and empty an extra large about 4 times a day for 2 days. In addition, I leak, but I believe that is because of the prolapse. All that said, I just want to say thank you to this company. I dreaded my periods and was terrified to leave the house during the 1st 2 days of my cycle. I can now confidently go places and not feel like I’ll get into an embarrassing situation. Also wanted to add that I have tried one other “off-brand” that had a very long flat tail with notches in it. It was awfully uncomfortable. I even tried cutting some of the tail off. That didn’t help. The Pixie-Cup is super comfortable. I don’t even know I’m wearing it most of the time.Last thing – I have the sterilizing mechanism that is made by Pixie. That’s pretty awesome, too! It sterilizes all my cups in a couple minutes! Totally worth the extra money to know that your cups are clean 🙂

How to remove w/o hurting, read here
(Reviewing from husband’s account because that’s how I bought it)***TMI ALERT***I got the 2 pack. Today is my first day.-Don’t think that the large cup is only for mothers or bigger girls or even experienced cup users. I’m a 5 foot 105lbs, never had kids, my…”heavenly gates” are pretty small and the large cup is perfect. I tried the small – it just wouldn’t open up while in, but the large one snaps right into place, zero discomfort, doesn’t feel like it’s bigger when in (in fact, i don’t feel it at all) I used the large one my very first “go time”. So I’d say, go for the large one.-Wore it all day, only took out to rinse twice: once during the day and once before bed. Get this: all day – NO MESS! Gotta go to the bathroom – no need to change tampon, nothing seeps down the messy string, so the underwear stays clean-no bloaty “full tampon” feeling-no sweaty lukewarm pads-you know that feeling when you’ve just switched the tampon and you forget you did and you hop into the shower and think “damn. I’ll either need a new tampon or it’s a wet string in the underwear all day”? Yea. None of that anymore. Same with going to the bathroom (remember the days when you’ve put a new one in and THEN you needed to pee? Ugh)-i didn’t cut the stem – it’s very comfortable, I don’t feel it whatsoever.-taking it out hurt the first time because I just pulled it by the stem all the way out and the last bit HURT. What you need to do is pull a little bit and then press your finger into the base as if you would to fold it. Just a little bit, don’t squeeze it so much that you spill, but do fold it a little. Do it like that and it won’t hurt at all on the way out. You’ll get a hang of it.-the little holes at the top are a bit hard to clean, but not that hard.-only felt cramps for a few minutes at the very beginning. No more cramps all day and my first/second day is Usually the worst. In conclusion, I’m sooo happy, I can’t believe I didn’t buy sooner. Seriously. I’d recommend it to every woman I know and don’t know.

Im not really a reviewer. Mainly because I forget. But… Let me tell you why I love this product and why the company is awesome. I was very hesitant about buying a menstral cup to try after I found out about them. One of the reasons was the price. Seemed a bit pricey but they do last up to 10 years or so and they are better for the environment. I found this product and noticed when you buy one you donate one to someone in need and If I’m honest, that tied with their satisfaction guarantee sold it to me (not coz I’m a good person but because I’m tight and I figured my money would go further this way coz ya know… more cups lol The fact they were going to someone in need was an appealing bonus). I’m a mother of two children so I wasn’t sure this would work for me. It took me a while to figure out how to get it to open and how to position it, but once I did it worked for about half an hour then it started to leak pretty bad. I’m afraid the first 24 to 48 hours of shark week is a bit of a bloodbath. I know that’s gross but periods are gross lol. The rest of the week it works SO great. It is so comfortable, doesn’t hurt, easy to take out and clean. I loved having two sizes to try. So I was already pretty happy with the product but I decided to try their satisfaction guarantee (which normally I hate as sometimes companies really fight you on it), and emailed them about the leaking. I only had to mention it once and they sent me out a larger one to try free of charge immediately. I was so impressed at their service. They are a great company that sell great products, they really care about their customers and I can’t rate them highly enough. If you are on the fence about getting a pixie cup, I implore you to give it a go. Also just a little thing for me personally, but I did notice the little acts scripture reference inscription on the inside of the cup and as a Christian myself, it was just a nice little surprise and a lovely thought so yeah. Love the product, love the company. Thank you pixie cup 🙌

it will take a bit of getting used to but really good quality. and it’s a really good deal!!

I like the design, the cute small bag and some wipes to clean the cup. I appreciate the idea of giving one free to any woman in need for each bought. However, it’s not very easy and comfortable to put in, even when I tried the small size. Also when I sit on the bed, it feels like the cup is pushed further inside. It’s really weird and irritates me a bit as I will always have to stand up and sit down slowly so that it’s not “pushed”. Anyway, I still want to give it further tries, but I would probably only used it during sleeping.

I really wanted to love them.I got the 2 pack for when my cervix moves during my cycle.I loved the colours, the design, super cute cotton store bags and the stem/ribbed bottom was easy to grab. But unfortunately was not a good fit for me.Too firm and I could feel it inside. Also pressed too firmly inside meaning I couldn’t pee without adjusting it.I also found the suction hard to break and uncomfortable to remove.
