THIS STUFF…. WOW Indeed! I love it! I have thin hair and it gave a surprisingly amount of volume and some texture. I used it on my roots with damp hair and used a round brush and blower. Very easy to use. I have short hair, passed my ears, above my shoulders. I say it’s worth the price. The hold is flexible, but has incredible staying power

Great for fine hair
I have very fine hair and I absolutely love the results of this spray. It works well has a great scent. Does not leave my hair feeling heavy or greasy. Can be slightly costly but worth the money.

Finally…
After several months of hair loss due to medical reasons I tried many products to restore my already thin hair. It cost quite a bit and was very discouraging. Thank goodness I didn’t give up and ultimately tried “Raise the Root” and have been using it for a year or more. My hair volume and elasticity has been restored along with my self respect. Does not weigh my hair down, holds curls if I make them, does not make my hair greasy and lasts several days. Excellent volume and “fluff”.

Great product, weird scent, bad applicator/coverage
The product itself is excellent and does the job but has 2 cons for me. One, the scent is not pleasant and to me slightly smells like pee. And two, not to be environmentally unfriendly so don’t @ me, but it needs to be in an applicator that can give you a finer mist or aerosol. This spray bottle squirts it out in thick droplets that are too gloopy so you don’t get an even application – you get areas where your hair is hard and sticky and then other areas where no product even reached.

Awful! Dries Out Hair & Strips It of Shine.. Do Not Buy! It’s Non-Returnable
After only a few hours, the product becomes very gritty feeling, and your hair will feel dry and porous to the touch. If you read the ingredients, the first one is denatured alcohol. The rest are other chemicals like polymers.The next morning after using it, my hair felt gummy at the roots where the product had been applied, and it looked dry and dull. My scalp also felt itchy. I didn’t want to risk any further damage or breakage, so I immediately tried to shampoo it out.When I got my hair wet in the shower, it felt weird to the touch, like it had something bonded to it. The first shampoo didn’t remove the buildup or icky coated feeling. I shampooed a second time, something I never do, and it started to feel slightly better, but I could still feel something wasn’t right with my hair. Usually after shampooing, it feels clean and smooth. I didn’t want to do a third shampoo, so I used my regular conditioner and hoped for the best .After blowdrying my hair, it still looked dull and had none of its regular shine or softness which is not at all how my hair usually looks and feels after washing it. The gritty, gummy, feeling at the roots was gone and so was the itching, but my hair still doesn’t feel like it did before I used this product.It definitely damaged my hair. I wish I had checked out the ingredients more thoroughly before buying it.I noted that most of the reviewers who posted a photo or video did so immediately after styling, following their first use of the product, which is when it looks and feels its best. After only a few hours of being in your hair, that’s when the damaging effects will start to appear.This product is getting super over-hyped on social media by influencers. please don’t make the same mistake I did and fall for it .If you need lift at the roots, just use a good quality hairspray and styling products. I reached out to ColorWow with my concerns, and they offered to exchange this product for a different one if I return it. However, after reviewing the list of similar sounding ingredients in their other formulations, I’m going to take the financial hit and the lesson to be more careful in the future. I spent $25 on some thing that is genuinely terrible and should be pulled from the market.

Adds lift to fine/thin hair
I heard great things about this product and decided to give it a try on my fine, thin hair. I mostly wanted more volume at the crown and this definitely helps! A few sprays at the roots and then I blow dry and style. It stays throughout the day and holds more volume compared to days when I don’t use it. Not greasy or oily feeling at all. For me, it’s not an everyday use product but absolutely necessary on days when I have an event/activity. Overall I’d recommend!

It does everything it claims!
I love all color wow products but this root life is a game changer. Easy to apply with great scent. Quality product and it does what it says. It hold most of the day for me. My hair is very flat so the helps it looks like is thicker and more volume. Good value for quality spray.

I love this product. Im in the process of changing my hairstyle , going pixie. Wow makes it workable as my hair is straight snd fine. Do much body now and hair appears thicker with to much volume. Thanks for the great service too
