“A Convenient Everyday BB Cream with Sun Protection
The Sun Block BB Cream is a really handy product if you’re looking for everyday sun protection with just a touch of coverage. The texture is light and blends into the skin easily without leaving a greasy feeling, which makes it comfortable for long wear. It does a good job of evening out the skin tone and giving a fresh, natural look without feeling heavy like regular foundation. I like that it hydrates the skin and keeps it looking smooth, so you can skip a separate moisturizer on most days. I also use it for my kids before the go to school in the morning.

Light Coverage – Soft, Glowing Skin
I don’t like makeup and I rarely ever wear it. But now that I’m in my mid-40s, I’m realizing I need to do better with skincare, so I was looking for a moisturizer with SPF and came across several of the tinted BB creams. After reviewing several, I decided to give this one a try as the pictures of people using the “Light to Medium” seemed to have a similar skin tone as I do.The “Light to Medium” shade perfectly matches my skin. No one can tell that I have this on, unlike with other makeup. My partner and friends had no idea until I told them and they said they couldn’t tell.I am really happy with it so far! I’ve been using it for two days and I can feel how soft my skin is. The coverage is very light, so it’s not going to do major color correction, but it does seem like it gives my skin a nice glow and covers up some lighter marks on my face (not freckles, moles or darker spots). Once it dries, I can touch my face and not feel like a bunch of makeup is coming off on my fingers, which is one of the things I dislike about wearing a non-powder foundation.Yesterday, I put the moisturizer on twice as I was going to be out in the sun for a couple of hours and didn’t want to get sun burned. I was contemplating putting a different evening cream after my shower, but my skin was still so soft from using the CoverGirl moisturizer twice that I didn’t even bother with the night cream.I do have an oily T-Zone, so if I notice any major breakouts or anything weird, I’ll come back and update this review, but so far, I really love this product and will buy more of it. 🙂

The Comparison You Were Looking For…
Like you, I was searching for a less heavy foundation to wear every day–you know, something that still has minimal to light coverage but doesn’t look too ‘heavy baked.’Amazon of course recommend me to two products: (1) CG Smoothers and (2) CG Clean Matte BB Creams. So I bought both and compared, so you don’t have to…Please note, I’m a 30 year old mom still suffering will occasional breakouts and uneven skintone. Nothing new, just life…I normally wear the following;- Revlon Colorstay foundation in 150, Buff,- Revlon Colorstay Powder in 830, light/medium- Maybelline FitMe Powder in 110, Porcelain1) CG Smoothers- 805 Fair to LightThe consistency of this product is really smooth and light, more moisturising than tinting. Very light coverage, a little goes a long way, but also doesn’t feel heavy on your face. I love that the color is true and doesnt oxydize. You definitely however need a setting powder to refresh every now and again. (4.5/5 stars)2)CG Clean Matte BB Creams.It’s a very dense BB cream, it’s similar consistency to sunscreen, heavy. It also has a very heavy sunscreen odor to it too. However it’s medium coverage and very matte—keeping your face shine free all day.It’s not very blendable, and you need a lot of product. Please note: this product does oxydize and gets darker. (3/5 stars)

I have been using Covergirl Smoothers BB cream for many yrs now . I used to buy it in our stores in Sydney but as usual it was discontinued. Thank heavens for Amazon who enables me to continually buy it on line. Great product I use the Med-Dark & buy the Fair to Light for a friend who always admires how natural my skin looks.
