i need to issue a public warning to anyone who proudly collects premium brushes like they’re heirlooms: do not, under any circumstances, buy this set unless you’re ready to feel personally humbled. i opened the pouch, touched the first brush and immediately felt the ghosts of every overpriced brush i’ve ever bought gather around me in silent judgement. i swear i heard a faint chorus of “was all that money necessary?” coming from my drawer.these are ridiculously soft. not “good for the price” soft, i mean properly soft in the way that makes you rethink the last five years of your consumer choices. the fibres pick up shadow evenly, they don’t poke, and somehow they blend like they’ve been studying under a seasoned makeup artist who only works by candlelight. the handles feel steady, the ferrules aren’t wobbly, and the whole set looks far more expensive than it is. the little detail brush is dangerously good too. it tucked shadow along my lashline so neatly i had a brief out-of-body moment where i questioned whether i’ve ever actually known what i’m doing.each shape is surprisingly thought out. the angled brush (called a brow brush, but i would like to note there is no spoolie) is sharp enough to cleanly apply a smoky liner, the blending brush is properly dome-shaped so it moves shadow rather than dragging it, and the flatter eyeshadow brushes pack colour on without making it patchy. even the tiny eyeliner brush works. that was the final insult. usually the cheapest brush in a set is the liner one, but this one behaves like it has something to prove.they wash well, dry quickly, and don’t shed, which at this price feels like sorcery. the only thing i’d change is giving myself a short lecture about financial responsibility before ever buying more luxury brushes i clearly didn’t need.if you want a simple set that travels well, feels lovely, and makes your expensive brushes look at you like “so… are we not good enough anymore?”, this is the one.✨helpful tip✨if you need more impact, wet the bristles with water prior to picking up your eyeshadow on them.

I got these brushes thinking that they would be a great starter set for my daughter, but very quickly realized that I was going to be keeping them for myself! This 8 piece set by ACMEBEAUTY is an absolute steal! The quality is nicer than you could imagine an under 10 dollar set would be. The bristles are incredibly soft, but firm enough to ensure your make-up is going where you need it to. Along with this, the brushes hold the make-up well and do not cause a lot of “fall out.” They also blend beautifully – it should be noted that this applies to using all different make up brands from high end to low end. The brush set includes: a large eyeshadow brush, an eyeshadow brush, a blending brush, a detail brush, an eyeliner brush, a brow brush, a nose contour brush and a highlighter brush. In other words, it has everything you would need to apply a full face of make-up! I love the color option of pink, as it is a light shade that looks nice on my white vanity. I am appreciative that the brushes clean well and that, after some use and cleaning, that the bristles are not coming out at all. They are intact and ready for the next use. For this amazing price, I will be purchasing more of these brushes as gifts for my make-up loving friends and family.

okay but not great
This is an alright set of brushes. something id give to a younger person for play makeup but not someone whose trying to really get into it for art. it doesnt pick up or blend product well.Regular eye shadow does not want to cling to the hairs and glitter eye shadow doesnt want to come off of it.
