Non greasy tallow cream. Light almost fragrance free. Comes with a cute little spatula spoon that actually fits inside the jar for easy storing. Very moisturizing.

I can not believe how soft this made my dry skin. Not even remotely greasy, I now that’s hard to believe but it melts into your skin with a satin finish. There is the faintest sweet smell.

It’s a no for me.
I’m quite familiar with beef tallow creams and this one does NOT feel like it has a lot of beef tallow in it. I have purchased from 3 different vendors in the past and they all have the same feel to it on the skin. This one feels like a regular face cream. I did appreciate that it didn’t have a smell to it and it was not greasy at all. BUT it wasn’t as moisturizing as other tallow based creams that I have used. There were also way more ingredients in this than I prefer.I order tallow specifically for my teenage son who has sensitive skin as it’s a product that helps keep his acne under control without causing irritation. I didn’t want to chance it with this. Although the price is great, it’s just not what I need from a tallow based cream. If you have used tallow in the past and disliked the greasiness of it and don’t mind the extra ingredients, this may work for you. But it’s a no for me.

Great moisturizer, didn’t cause breakouts
I’ve tried a couple of different types of beef tallow face moisturizers, and this one is by far my favorite! It goes on easily and locks in moisture without feeling greasy. It didn’t make me break out, which is almost unheard of for my skin (especially when trying a new product). When they say unscented, they actually mean unscented! (I’m really sensitive to fragrances, and finding a face cream that doesn’t smell like cloying funeral flowers is rare). The whip gives it a nice consistency, and it doesn’t sit heavy on my face. It absorbs beautifully, but keeps me moisturized all day long. The 4oz jar should last a long time because it doesn’t take much when applying. Finally, I love the spoon/paddle that was included! (It’s a small detail, but it’s hard for me to get creams out of jars without getting a lot underneath my fingernail. The paddle makes it easy to remove from the jar and apply to my face without having to wash it off of my nails. I highly recommend this moisturizer!
