FANTASTIC FULL-DAY lip color!!
Let me start by saying I am not a girly girl. I would love to be – I’m just not. I don’t buy hundreds of dollars of cosmetics each year because 1, I don’t know how to use them all, 2, it’s just too putzy for me, and 3, I HATE spending money on things that don’t work. That said, I have bought four of these so far, and expect to add to my color list. These are FANTASTIC! They really do last all day unless you bite your lips a lot or roughly wipe them often. There are two ends on these tubes. The color end is a felty type wand. The other end is a “color-locking” clear coat. I have the following colors in order on the picture:117 – Peppermint Blush – for a pale white girl, this is literally the same color as my lips. It has a bit of a metallic look in the tube, but I didn’t notice it on my lips.119 – Neverending Nutmeg – brown cream109 – Toujour Teaberry – bit of a metallic color in the tube201 – Everlasting Caramel – pretty color, but not caramel at all.Now, because I don’t wear makeup usually, these are really stark to me, so I brush off most of the color back into the tube. Plus, I don’t LOVE any one of the colors, so I mix them all to match my outfit or my mood that day. I just brush a bit of one color onto the wand of the other and it’s just what I want. I will say I noticed a difference when I add the color-lock sheen a couple minutes after putting on the color rather than immediately afterwards. For a couple of minutes the color will feel pretty sticky, but it really does hold better if you give it a couple minutes after applying color. I cannot rave about this lip treatment enough.

Budget friendly long lasting lip color option
I love the L’Oreal Pro-Last Color Lipstick. I have friends who have started selling LipSense but I refused to invest the money it would require and consume to have various colors of the product. After searching through some online reviews I decided to order two different types of lip product that are supposed to be budget friendly and mostly comparable. The Pro-Last Color Lipstick is a good fit for me. It does need touched up if I have a meal with a lot of oil but otherwise the color stays put through my whole day with only a slight fade. The only time I’ve experienced flaking is when I first started and put the product on too thick. Since I learned to put a thin coat of color on I haven’t experienced any flaking. It doesn’t take long to dry before I am able to apply the balm so I’ve worked it into my makeup routine to apply the color, do another step in my routine and then apply the balm. I do reapply the balm a couple times a day if my lips feel dry. My only disappointment is that L’Oreal doesn’t sell the balm separately as I hate that I’ll be wasting the color side of this when I run our of the balm.The colors are hard to judge when buying online so here are my thoughts on the two that I’ve bought. My first purchase was of #109, Toujour Teaberry, and the second #115, Timeless Rose. Toujour Teaberry is shown on the left in the picture and Timeless Rose on the right. They appear close in color in the tubes but there is enough variety between them they give a very different look when applied. Toujour Teaberry has what look to be small bronze/rose like shimmer flecks in it which are not pounced when applied. It goes on with a darker rose appearance which I find works really well for the office. Timeless Rose while just a step or two lighter than Toujour Teaberry looks much lighter on the lips and has silver/iridescent flecks which gives it more of a sparkle and shimmer look on the lips in comparison to the other color. The shimmer sticks with you on Timeless Rose where it isn’t really noticeable on Toujour Teaberry. I love the lighter color for a feel of Spring or Summer but personally will not wear Timeless Rose if I’m going to be in the office.Overall it’s a great product with some good color choices. I’ll definitely be buying a couple more color options.

The product is very durable, stays 24hrs and doesn’t get too sticky matty while drying. However, this colour is very natural pink, it looks like there is no colour on lip, so you like some shade, then go for darker colour.
