It works!!
I have tried several brands of retinol and this is the first one that does what it is described to do. It is strong so I eased into using it every nite or two by using it twice per week initially. The lotion tingled a bit at first, but did not burn. It works as described, minimizing fine lines and wrinkles with extended use. I use this serum after the Lioresal hyaluronic acid and then apply a good nite cream with lots of moisturizer. My 73 year old skin has never looked better and the lotion is a good price.

Great OTC retinol treatment!
I’m 33 going on 34 and have luckily been blessed with no skin issues throughout my life. However, my skin has a tendency to be dry as I get older and dryness makes small lines more pronounced. My skin has been looking dull lately and my forehead has fine lines and texture that ages me a bit. I got this to try because I have never really had a skincare routine but think I need to start. I followed the directions and put a thin layer on my skin followed by the moisture cream. Ten days have passed and I can say I see improvement already. My skin looks visibly brighter and more supple and the forehead lines less pronounced. I will say that I waited until now because for the first week my skin was extremely sensitive, stinging a bit, and flaking all over. I knew I needed to push through and now the flaking has stopped and I look refreshed. I will continue to use this and hope my fine lines keep getting less noticeable. One bottle seems like it would last for two months so while it isn’t cheap, it isn’t as expensive as other items.

Let’s face it none of us wants to accept wrinkles or any other effects of aging. I am 75 years old, and fortunately inherited good genes from my mother, so I don’t have a lot of wrinkles. I have noticed than my cheek “apples” have fallen and gravity is doing a job on the skin on my neck, not to mention other parts of my body.Prior to buying this retinol crème, I did some research to find out if it would help or would be another waste of time and money. What I found out is that retinoids can reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by increasing the production of collagen. They also stimulate the production of new blood vessels in the skin, which improves skin color. Additional benefits include fading age spots and softening rough patches of skin. However, it takes three to six months of regular use before improvements in wrinkles are apparent—and the best results take six to 12 months.Retinoids and retinols change how a cell functions, specifically the speed at which a cell turns over, or divides, to create new cells. Retinoids encourage skin cells to divide more rapidly, building up the protective top layer of skin, the epidermis. As we age, there is a decline in the natural production of collagen and elastic fibers that give your skin lift and bounce in the epidermis. That makes our skin more frail and thin, which leads to wrinkles, sun spots and other types of visible skin damage.Retinoids help mitigate those issues in a variety of ways. They thicken the epidermis through increased cell proliferation at the top level. They increase the production of natural chemicals (such as hyaluronic acid) in your skin that keep it plump and moist. They stimulate collagen production and inhibit the breakdown of collagen that already exists. They also block several inflammatory pathways that exacerbate pimples and acne.There are definitely side effects with both retinols and retinoids, but they’re temporary, lasting around three to four weeks. The most common side effects are redness, dry and scaly skin and itching or burning. Wear a sunscreen during the day because retinoids increase the skin’s sensitivity to sunlight. It is also to use a moisturizer when using retinol products. I use a moisturizer before applying this product, and another reviewer used the moisturizer after. I’m not sure if the sequence is important, but I feel using the moisturizer before this product is prepping my skin for use of the retinol. These drugs must be used continually to maintain their benefits. So, if retinol works for you, the benefits can be maintained only with continual use.Personally, I can’t honestly say this product has done anything for me as yet. I don’t have sensitive skin so I had no side effects. This product says there is .3% of retinol which is a very small percentage. This seems to be an acceptable and effective percentage of retinol. I haven’t used this product for 12 months, but so far, it hasn’t done anything for me. I suppose that waiting for 12 months for something to work means more to me now than if I was 50 years old or younger.I hope this review was helpful for you.

I’m loving it!
I am loving this. Normally, retinol creams have a sting factor. This does not. It’s creamy and light and moisturizing. I saw a dermatologist recommend it on Instagram, so I thought, ‘Why not?’ I’ve only used it for a couple of nights but it absobs instantly. It’s so ease to use. My only wish – the bottle was bigger!!!!

Be consistent, it does work pretty well
Love. Absorbs easily, not greasy. On my second bottle and I’ve been consistently using it. and the horizontal lines on my forehead and around eyes have softened, but didn’t go away. However the 11s on my forehead and lines around my mouth have definitely lightened, disappeared. This will be a go to with my skin regiment. I do have it on subscribe and save now. Bottle lasts 2 1/2 mos.
