needs a more detailed sizing chart
I was glad this was made from medical grade silicone. Some are made from plastic or rubber, which I would not want inside my body. It’s very soft and easy to bend, yet it feels like it would be sturdy enough to open and create a seal and collect blood within the body, without allowing leaks. The problem is that no matter how I bent it, I could not get it inside me. I tried to insert it in the tub, and I even tried making a pointy end when I folded it, but no matter how you fold it, it unfolds the minute you let go, so even if you have partially inserted it, then you can’t get the entire opening into your body.I got the large because I am currently going through perimenopause. In fact, one reason I got this is because my periods had become so unpredictable that I wanted something to just keep on hand, in case I had no tampons when my period began. I also typically use the largest sized tampons I can find – super plus. I have never had difficulty with those. I only docked a star because I thought the product page should be more clear about how to find the exact right size to use. However, this is a high quality period cup if you can find the correct size that fits correctly, and it comes with a very cute pink satin bag to keep it in. It’s good for the environment.

Comfortable Once Inserted, But Wish XS Size Was Available
I generally prefer menstrual cups over tampons because they’re more comfortable once properly inserted and provide longer protection. With this cup, I found that insertion was easier during the first couple of days of my period, but more difficult on lighter day which is typical for me. This cup is about average sized compared to past small cups I have owned, however, I think having access to the even smaller size would be really helpful.The box notes that the small size is intended for women under 25 or those who haven’t given birth. I fall into the latter category. I would have still loved the additional option of an XS size for lighter days. My favorite cup in the past was much smaller and worked perfectly for lighter days—until my silicone-obsessed cat chewed it up! Unfortunately, I don’t see an XS option available from this company despite what the box says.If you care for it properly and boil it to help clean, you can use a single menstrual cup for years. Menstrual cups are a much more economical option for your period compared to tampons. This one actually costs less than a big box of the tampons I typically use when I get my period so the price of these seems very reasonable considering the lifespan of the product.Ideal for heavier days or people with a moderately sized cervix, the cup is well-made, soft enough rimmed to be easy to insert, comfortable once in place, and does provide reliable leak-free protection for a longer amount of time than tampons. If you’re new to menstrual cups, just be aware that sizing can make a big difference, and I hope this brand expands its size options in the future.

Not for me, but seems well made
I’ve been wanting to try one of these menstrual cups because they’re more environmental. I appreciated that this is made of medical grade silicon since it goes inside your body. I just couldn’t get it to work. The one time I seemed to place it right, it felt weird and I took it back out again. I don’t tend to use tampons except if it’s the only thing available, so maybe I’m just not suited for it. At only $5.99 (at time of review) it’s not a huge investment if you want to at least give it a shot like me.

This menstrual cup is made from soft medical grade silicone. And I ordered the large size because of how heavy my period is. This menstrual cup has good quality that can be useful for a long time.This is a great alternative to pads and tampons and you won’t have to worry about leaking when you go out. Take it out often especially you feel like it’s the most heavy time of your period. This large menstrual cup can hold up to 30 ml total but 25ml will be safe from leaking. This menstrual cup can be use for 12 hours continuously but it depends upon how heavy your period is.The circular grip ring is a brilliant idea so it’s easy to pull. Don’t forget to disinfect after every use by boiling for 3-10 minutes.
