Nice brush.
The bristles are nice and sturdy – not too limp, but not so stiff as to be uncomfortable.So far, I’ve had no issues with any mildew that these types of brushes are sometimes prone to – it’s usually caused by the bristles being too tightly bound together – which doesn’t seem to be the case with this brush.I’m hoping they make a handled version – which I’ll be shopping for when my current one needs replacing – which will likely be soon.I receive no incentives or compensations for my reviews. If I give 4 stars, it’s usually because I haven’t had an item long enough to evaluate it’s durability / longevity.

Natural look and feel brush that gets the job done
Wet or dry, this brush works great to exfoliate dry skin, groom short cuts, or simply caressing your lymph system pathways around head and shoulders.

Came with a small white scuff on it, replacement better but still had some scuffs
The brush came with a small white scuff on it that could not be wiped off, so I ordered a replacement and it was a little better but still had scuffs on it. Since it’s acacia wood + boar bristles at a reasonable price, i’ll keep it despite the scuffs.It washed up nicely and seems like it would be great to use wet or dry, however I hope the metal the rivets holding the handle on are made with are anti-rust. Since it comes in a box with out any sealed packaging I think it very wise to thoroughly wash it before use. I washed mine with the same soaps used for skin plus a few drops of peroxide to disinfect it. Then I conditioned the bristles and wood with tallow.The bristles are the perfect firmness for a skin brush to me. The firmness is not unlike sisal skin brushes I have used before. This level of firmness leaves skin feeling invigorated and that’s the point. If the bristles were softer, it wouldn’t have the needed effect that skin brushing provides, and might require added pressure, one can always brush more softly with a firm brush if needed, but brushing harder with a soft brush, that’s an uphill battle. Skin brushing should be a relaxing process that doesn’t require excessive effort. These firm boar bristles will do the work with just a light sweeping motion.I would like another of these with a long reach handle. The detachable handle style of a lot of brushes is nice and versatile but I like the smooth domed top of this brush the way it is.

Great Body Scrubber for the Shower
I love this brush. I slip my hand into it and it fits perfectly for scrubbing the body. It’s just the right stiffness to be invigorating but not abrasive. I soap it up and go head to toe. I highly recommend it to anyone that likes a brisk shower experience.
