Gloss is nice, container needs work. The gloss is on the thicker side but is moisturizing is glossy/shiny. However, you should be able to keep this in a bag/tote without the lid popping off. I had to clean off a bunch of sticky items due to the lid coming off and product leaking a bit, just from being in my bag. The lid is not a very secure one.

Nice feel on the lips, not a lot of product
I rarely splurge on items like this for myself but I’ve seen this get a ton of rave reviews. My lips are constantly chapped so I thought I’d try it. It has a nice feel to it. Thick but not sticky which I appreciate. The applicator tip is nice and wide and feels nice while applying.My problem is the amount in the tube. You clearly have to squeeze to get product out, so you’re feeling around on the squishy tube part and it’s only about 1/2 full.I enjoy the product, and I don’t care that it’s a “celebrity” product. For $28 I expected the tube to be mostly full. DisappointedUPDATE: I have used this product for a few days now. It usually lasts about 90 minutes to 2 hours before I need to reapply.

smells and tastes 🙁
unfortunately, after giving this product ample time to change my mind, the tube remains my least used lip product due to the smell, as well as the taste that this treatment has. the first time i opened the tube and used it, i had to wipe it off immediately and wash my lips because it genuinely was that bad. i thought maybe the effects would bring me back to using it every so often but i was looking for an everyday lip treatment that wasnt summer fridaysafter SERIOUSLY trying to “just get over it(smell/taste)” i wore it for a 30 minute car ride and the only reason this review has 2 stars, the product really did help with moisture retention, natural lip plumping with ZERO sting(probably due to hydrating itself), a beautiful shine w a beautiful pout, & healthier looking lips overall.i can not tell you how sad i am that it’s been gradually dropping deeper into my purse every time i reach in my bag to pull out my lip balm instead.ughhhh i wish it didn’t smell or taste gross. :(p.s. i feel as though i do need to address that i am not consuming the product on purpose, but i roll my lips together lol
