Depends on if you get a fresh jar…
Have ordered this product twice. The first jar I used, the consistency was very thick and stiff. Also left pills behind on my face and neck as I tried to smooth it in. It felt rather sticky. Not pleased. As I love the other products in this line, I ordered another jar of this cream to try it one more time due to the positive reviews. Plus it was a great deal during Prime Day.The second jar I order was so much better. The cream felt luxurious, and smoothed right in. Left no pills behind. Made my face feel soft. Obviously the first jar was old. Suppose its a coin toss when you order in the future whether you get the fresh jar or not. Didn’t notice an expiration date. Do beauty products even post an expiration date?

Not very hydrating
The product is ok. It’s fragrance free and feels very clean. However, I find it’s not very hydrating. My skin is not dry, but I live in a dry climate. Even when I use this with a serum overnight, my face feels very dry in the morning. It’s fine for my sensitive skin. I would not buy it again.

The best
I use this every night before bed and my skin feels so soft and nourished. I am fragrant sensitive and this has just a slight creamy smell that disappears once applied. I use all the The Outset products and I am very pleased with them. A little goes a long way so they last a long time.

My favorite night cream!
This night cream is amazing! I have tried tons of night creams – this one is my favorite. I typically put this cream on top of my nightly retinol product, to protect my skin from drying out. On nights when I think my skin needs a retinol break, I use the Outset’s night cream on its own to calm and rehydrate my skin. I have also found that niacinimide brightens my skin and lightens my brown spots. So that is an extra bonus!
