Amazing, but likely overpriced
I am a 46 year old woman with dry, aging skin—specifically fine lines that I don’t love. I have been on a mission to undo and prevent as much of this as possible, by trying different brands and ingredients to see which work best. While I normally use Korean skincare products, I was so excited to try Timeline’s Mito-Biotic Dewey Cream Lightweight Moisturizer. This stuff is fascinating, rooted in science by Timeline, who started out as a supplement company to fight aging from the inside out and then developed incredible science driven products to also combat it from the outside. I didn’t want to love this product because it is incredibly expensive. At the time I ordered, this lovely, luxe looking, 1.7 ounce bottle was $160, but appears to be even $40 higher in price now. That doesn’t feel sustainable to me—so I think my hope was well founded. The bottle is nice, utilizing a nice pump. It looks high end. 2 pumps is enough to cover my face well so it will last a quite a while. It is unscented, and light weight. It massages nicely into my face and absorbs quickly. Once absorbed, my face looks and feels incredibly nourished, very moisturized and ridiculously soft. I have been using it for about a week, and I’ve actually noticed a difference in the texture of my facial skin as well as a slight reduction in the fine lines on my forehead. This is especially noticeable when I raise my eyebrows and watch the lines reduce as I lower them. And, as an incredible topper offer, my skin has a radiant glow when all is said and done. I love that the ingredients include Mitopure, their patented and research-backed bioactive, that again is rooted in science and tech, specifically: Mito-Biotic Technology along with collagen, peptides, Niacinamide, green tea and shea butter. I seriously didn’t want to love this incredible product from Switzerland, but alas, I do love it. $160 would break the bank for me and $200 is absolutely unreachable, so I wouldn’t be able to buy it again. I’m not sure, as much as I love it, if it’s worth the price, as I have found a few other products that perform just about the same, and are still luxe, high end products, for a more affordable price. But, this stuff is still amazing!

Timeline Mito-Biotic Travel Size Moisturizing Cream
As I age, I am starting to notice more wrinkles and such. I am not one that wants to intervene with the aging process by seeking out cosmetic procedures and such. With that said though, I DO try to find and try products that can help slow down the progression of wrinkles, dry skin, irritated skin, etc. Between wrinkles and dry skin, I’m not sure which one is “worse”, but I know hydration and moisture are a must!I’ve used other Timeline products before, though sparingly, as they are a bit pricey. While I think they are a bit more overpriced than they should be, I have been fairly pleased with their products. However, the jury – for me – is still out on this particular moisturizer. I was happy to see the travel size, as I felt that would give me a good opportunity to try it out and see if I liked it, before splurging on a big jar – which is ultra expensive.The texture and weight of the cream is very light and soothing. It doesn’t leave my skin feeling heavy or oily … just refreshed and hydrated. I let it absorb into my skin, before I even try putting on makeup, as that seems to be the right balance of absorption, while also getting my makeup to set right on my skin and not cake up.While I DO like how it makes my skin feel, I’m not sure it’s really worth the splurge overall – for how it claims to combat wrinkles and such. I have noticed SOME difference, but nothing that is “WOW”. It helps with hydration and some with lessening the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, but I don’t think I’d necessarily use this long term for those 2 purposes alone. Perhaps I just need more time and consistency to try this moisturizer for longer.

Safe daily routine for sensitive skin
I have been using this product for a while and the overall feeling is very gentle. I have sensitive skin and am prone to sweating and flaking, so I have always been very picky about skin care products. The texture feels thick when you first apply it, but it absorbs quickly after spreading and is not sticky or stuffy. Even if you are doing housework at home or going out for a walk, you will not sweat due to heat. It has no fragrance at all and is very safe to use. My skin remains soft without any redness or peeling. It has become a step I use morning and night.

So strange! I swore I reviewed this right after I got it cause I was so excited about it. And yet my review is nowhere to be found. So I’m back again! Cause this deserves ALL the props.First let’s address the cost and get that tackled right away. It’s expensive. It’s science backed luxury skincare so it’s going to be expensive but unlike a lot of other products you come across, this moisturizer is truly deserving of the price tag. Not only is this an innovative product, they made everything about it luxe from the attractive and crazy secure product packaging, to the bottle and most importantly, the look and feel of the moisturizer itself. Want tamper proof skincare? This box is sealed with a pull tab. There’s no sneaking a peek or a drop. You have to destroy the box to get to the bottle.I’m a skincare enthusiast who has tried a mind boggling number of products and nothing lives up to the quality of this. There’s nothing else like it on the market that I’ve found. It’s a milky tan lotion that’s rashly spreadable. A pea sized amount is all that’s needed to cover the face. The finish it leaves on the skin is amazing. It makes my skin feel and look firmer without there being a coating. It adds a slight iridescent glow but not a shine. It looks healthy and vibrant like a fresh natural glow. After using it my skin feels stronger, less fragile and more deeply hydrated.The ingredients in this are top notch and are said to help repair skin on a cellular level. Time will tell but even the immediate effects of this moisturizer are fantastic. It should also be good for any skin type and thanks to the clean, fragrance free ingredients it’s unlikely to cause issues for those with sensitivities.Timeline has made some truly remarkable skincare.
