Nice idea, but frustrating to actually use
This threading epilator is easy enough to set up, and I’ll give it credit for presentation. It comes nicely packaged and feels lightweight and comfortable in the hand. The built-in light is also genuinely helpful when you’re trying to see fine hairs.Unfortunately, the performance doesn’t really live up to the concept. The cotton thread provided is very thick (much thicker than what’s typically used for hair removal), which makes it harder to grab fine hairs. Because of that, the thread stays twisted, gets fluffy quickly, and stops working well. Once that happens, it mostly just glides over the skin, and you end up replacing the thread far more often than expected. On top of that, it’s difficult to tell if hairs are getting pulled from the root or just broken off at the surface.It’s also harder to use than it looks. Getting the correct angle is tricky, and even small changes in positioning affect whether it actually removes hair or not. The instruction manual isn’t very helpful, so there’s a lot of trial and error involved. While it’s lightweight, it’s not especially travel-friendly due to the exposed steel wire shape, which doesn’t pack well.With thinner threading cotton and better guidance, this could work much better. As it is, it has some thoughtful features, but the inconsistent performance and steep learning curve hold it back.
