Ecliptic & Forest: Sublime shades worth the price!
I have this formula in four different colors now bcuz these are that Amazing!The buttery smooth feel of these satin lipsticks is amazing and the color is just divine. Plus it’s all for such an inexpensive price!And these are green. What’s not to love?I absolutely adore these last two colors I just received called Ecliptic and Forest. They are absolutely DIVINE! I like these the most of all the colors. If you like darker and bolder colors too, that feel so great on and are moisturizing, with a satin finish, then you’ll love these two shades.Forest has a tad more red to it than the other shade. Ecliptic is more a blend of brick red/grape jam/rum raisin on… but these both look so so good on, that they both are definite keepers and favorites!

The Ecliptic is NOT the color that is pictured. It’s light not dark as pictured. Still a lovely color but i needed darker. So, getting 3 stars for not matching description.

Bumps in the lipstick.
I initially loved this lipstick – beautiful color, smooth feel. After a few wears, I went to apply it and felt something bumpy. I don’t know what this is but I’m not putting this on my mouth!

Power Color
I love this lipstick! My colleagues call it a “power color.” It is easy to apply, not sticky, and lasts longer. The advertised color is exactly how it looks when it arrives. I’m looking forward to trying the variety of colors available (color variety).

I love lipsticks so much and I was just not impressed by this one. It did not smell good at all. It smelled like my moms old lipsticks from the 90’s that had that gross lipstick scent. The lipsticks today I find usually smell so much better. Nothing grosses me out more than wearing a bad smelling lipstick that you have to keep smelling all day long. It was comfortable to wear on my lips but not long lasting by any means. I personally would never buy one again just because it didn’t smell good, and doesn’t check enough of my boxes. I will stick to my high end lipsticks.

This is the Maybelline New York Green Edition Butter Cream Lipstick, Formulated with Cocoa Butter, Hydrating, Forest, Purple, 3.4g. This is a hydrating and creamy formula lipstick that is rather reminiscent of a lip balm with color added. The application is smooth and creamy and easy. The only drawback to have a balm texture lipstick is that it does not have a lot of staying power and needs to be retouched frequently especially if you are touching anything to your lips such as a cup or fork. This lipstick has a very pleasant smell and the color is beautiful. I chose this color Forest which is kind of a deep rich purple color because it was looking for something that had a kind of gothy feel. Although this lipstick makes my lips feel nice and hydrated and comes off easily it is not my first choice in lipsticks only because I tend to not be able to touch one up as frequently as this would need. Although I do believe in a lighter color or as an occasions lipstick this would be an absolutely perfect brand to keep your lips hydrated especially during the winter. This is the green line of lipsticks and all of the colors seem to be beautiful and saturated. I would recommend this lipstick if you were looking more for comfort and hydration than you are for smudge free and staying power. Overall a pretty good buy at this price point and with this color selection.

This is an excellent lipstick in terms of both quality and colour. With a single stroke, rich, deep colour is applied effortlessly and evenly. It’s hydrating, smooth, and creamy. There were no blemishes on the lipstick. After a while, it doesn’t transfer much to the various locations where the lips came into touch so I may safely wear it in my daily routine. I expected it to be a replacement for my lip balm, but it isn’t. This lipstick case is fashionable and looks more like lip balm than lipstick; it snaps shut tightly to preserve the lipstick from drying out.
